news flash

The next 12 months are going to be very intense for FS2Crew and our loyal users!

Here's what happened last week:

• Generation AI was updated to V1.0.16. This update introduced deeper integration between the Comms Center and the main FS2Crew app, allowing your virtual FO to access NOTAMs, ATIS, and selected aircraft data. You can find the full Change Log in the Generation AI Online Manual.

• Remember: Generation AI works differently from our older FS2Crew products. It features automatic updates, so there's no need to use the FS2Crew Product Manager. Just launch Generation AI and you're always on the latest version.

• Still wondering what Generation AI is? It's what FS2Crew users have been asking for over the last 20 years: cloud speech recognition, hundreds of voices, a modern GUI, dynamic briefs and cabin PAs, multilingual support, non-scripted conversations, and much more.

Here's what's coming down the pipe:

• Animated FO support for FBW A32NX — arriving late next week if all goes as planned. Support is free for Generation AI users who own the Generation 1 Animated FO for the FBW Airbus. Don't own the animated FO? You can purchase it via the FS2Crew website, here: [LINK]

• Fenix Airbus Generation AI is next. It's close, and it will also support the Generation 1 Animated FO out of the box.

• Then comes everything else: PMDG 737, A350, A220, CRJ, Maddog, PMDG 777—and possibly the ATR.

• And we're not stopping there. We also have other AI-powered FS2Crew programs in development that you'll love!

• Foundation series products aren't going away. We're continuing to support the older FS2Crew products—in fact, we recently released updates for the iFly 737, Fenix Airbus, and PMDG 777.

• With the Animated FO and Generation AI, we've reached peak First Officer experience. Honestly, we're running out of ways to improve it!

• A brand-new FS2Crew website is coming in the next couple of weeks to usher in the Generation AI era.

• Training videos are coming. We're a bit old-school and prefer PDF manuals, but we'll put on our Martin Scorsese hats and start pumping them out. We appreciate that times have changed.

• A MAJOR announcement is coming very soon about our AI product line. Prepare to be blown away. We won't let the cat out of the bag here, but let's just say it's going to shake things up in the world of MSFS and AI with what we've done.

The next 12 months will be packed with new products, major updates, and frequent releases.

Buckle up. Generation AI is just getting started.
